Mykonos, often dubbed “The Island of the Winds,” is famous for its picturesque landscapes, pristine beaches, and vibrant nightlife.

When you step onto the sun-kissed shores of Mykonos, you’re immediately captivated by the island’s natural beauty. It’s a place where time seems to stand still as you wander through narrow alleys adorned with whitewashed buildings, vibrant bougainvillea, and historic windmills. Make sure to visit the charming marina near the Archaeological Museum, just a short walk from the heart of town.

Roca Sunset Restaurant , often called Roca Cookery, perfectly complements this allure with its prime location in the old port of Mykonos. It is beautifully nestled on a hill overlooking the azure waters of the Aegean Sea.

Roca’s Calamari

While every dish at Roca Sunset is a testament to Mediterranean excellence, some stand out as signature dishes. We had the tender, crispy, fried calamari with sweet chili dipping sauce.

It was divine!

I could eat that every day of the week and not grow tired of it: hands down, 10/10. The tender, juicy morsels melt in your mouth.

Of course, you must also try the delectable Greek Salad starter. The salty feta cheese adorned crispy bell peppers and succulent tomatoes, bathed in a delicious herby blend of oregano and olive oil. It is a feast for the senses.

Every dish on the menu tells a story of culinary craftsmanship and dedication to creating a memorable dining experience.

Creative Mixology

The restaurant doesn’t just excel in food; it also boasts a remarkable cocktail menu. Sip on a “Spicy Margarita” while watching the sun dip below the horizon.

The smoky mezcal tequila, fresh lime, and sweet Cointreau are velvety smooth, while the gorgeous chili flake-lined rim tingles your lips.

The “Passion” is a prime example of the artistry behind the bar. This refreshing concoction combines citrusy mandarin vodka, fresh lime juice, and sweet passion fruit puree, resulting in a drink that perfectly complements the breathtaking view.
