Travel Resources I Actually Use for Greece
Planning a trip to Greece can feel like opening a million tabs and somehow still not knowing what to book. These are the tools I personally use when planning my own trips, booking travel for my family, and helping friends plan theirs.
I only recommend tools I actually use and trust.

Flights
How I find and book flights without losing my mind
• Google Flights
This is always my starting point to compare routes, dates, and prices quickly.
• Book directly with the airline
Once I find the flight I want, I book directly with the airline for easier changes and better support if something goes wrong.
Hotels
Where I book most of my stays in Greece
• Booking.com
This is where I book most of my hotels. I like the flexibility, real reviews, and easy cancellation options.
Rental Cars
For island travel and exploring beyond the cities
• Discover Cars
I use this to compare rental car prices and options, especially on islands like Crete and Naxos.
Transfers and Taxis
For stress free arrivals
• Welcome Pickups
I use this when I want a driver waiting for me at the airport or ferry port. It’s especially helpful for late arrivals or first time visits.
Ferries and Island Hopping
How I check routes and book ferries
• Ferryhopper
This is the easiest way I’ve found to check ferry schedules, routes, and book tickets between islands.
Tours and Experiences
When I want a tour that’s actually worth it
• Viator
I use this to book tours and experiences after checking reviews and real traveler photos.
• GetYourGuide
Another solid option for vetted tours and experiences without spending hours researching.
Luggage Storage
For those awkward in between travel days
• Stasher
I use this when I have time between checkout and flights or ferries and don’t want to drag bags around.
Safety and Logistics
Things people forget about but shouldn’t
• Seven Corners Travel Insurance
I use this for international trips in case plans change or something unexpected comes up while traveling.
• STEP Program (US citizens)
I recommend signing up so the U.S. embassy can contact you in case of emergencies while abroad.
• International Driving Permit (AAA)
If you plan to rent a car, you may need one. You can get it through AAA before your trip.
My Ride or Die Travel Must Haves
I do not leave home without these.
