On the way to your suite, you will turn off the main path by The Church of Stavros and wander past the entrance to the path that overlooks the Churches of Agios Spiridonas (Saint Spyridon) and Anasteseos (the Church of the Resurrection, which make up the iconic three blue domes of Santorini.
Even though the town of Oia can be extremely crowded, the suites are located along a gated, private walkway. The only little traffic you will have in front of your room will be that from other guests.

Accommodation Details
During our trip, we stayed in Chelidonia’s Elegant Suite. It is a traditional-style cave house with a minimalistic design. The crisp white interior was decorated with charming antiques from fellow Aegean islands and rustic aesthetic wood furniture.

The suite is extremely spacious. It is 45 square meters or roughly 484 square feet, with plenty of room to stretch out.
There is a living area with an inviting white ‘couch’ about the size of a twin bed, a rustic coffee table, a quaint reading desk, and a cute small table along the wall. A grand whitewashed floor mirror graces the side wall.
The bathroom was also spacious. It contains a walk-in shower with a delightful rain showerhead and a handheld body sprayer. You can open two windows in the shower to the outside to allow airflow.
Of course, these windows are conspicuously placed so that nobody other than the suite’s inhabitants can see in.
The Elegant Suite’s terrace contained a cozy table for two that overlooked the azure Aegean Sea and Oia’s crisp white architectural façade.
There is also an outdoor plunge whirlpool partially covered by the white cave-style architecture, shielding you from the intense Santorini sun if you desire.
Small, steep steps along the side of the plunge whirlpool lead you to a plush, relaxing sitting area on the rooftop. The roughly queen-sized, plush lounger on the roof was the perfect spot for a bird’s eye view.

Our suite was impeccably clean. The Chelidonia staff come twice daily to clean the room and refresh the towels. They usually arrive around 10 am and then again around 7 pm. It was nice to have fluffy, fresh towels twice a day!

When in the mood for savory, the “Strapatsada” contains velvety scrambled eggs with creamy tomato, topped with salty feta cheese, fresh oregano, and crispy bread.
The breakfast was so extensive and filling that it kept us fueled straight through lunch. We looked forward to it each morning!
